SEO content shouldn’t read like a keyword list. It should read like a human wrote it — for humans. Search engines have gotten better at rewarding that.
Keyword Placement
- Title — Primary keyword. Near the front.
- First paragraph — Include it early. Natural. Don’t force.
- Headings — H2/H3 with variations. “How to” “What is” “Why” — match query intent.
- Throughout — Naturally. Use synonyms. Don’t repeat the same phrase 10 times.
Avoid
- Keyword stuffing — “SEO for manufacturers” 10 times in 500 words. Looks spammy.
- Unnatural phrasing — “Best SEO for manufacturers Florida” in the middle of a sentence. Awkward.
- Thin content — 200 words with keywords. No value. No rank.
Structure
- Answer first — Direct answer in the first 100 words. Snippet-friendly.
- Scannable — Headlines, bullets, short paragraphs. Mobile users skim.
- Internal links — To pillar, to commercial pages. Pass authority.
