Schema markup helps search engines understand your content. It can also unlock rich results — extra information in search listings. Here’s what to implement for B2B.
Organization
- Homepage — Name, logo, URL, description. Tells Google who you are.
- One per site — Don’t duplicate. Use it on the homepage or site-wide in the header.
Service
- Service pages — Name, description, provider (your organization). Helps with local and service-based queries.
- Use for — /services/web-design, /services/seo-growth, etc.
BreadcrumbList
- Every detail page — Home > Services > Web Design. Shows hierarchy.
- Benefits — Breadcrumbs in search results. Clear navigation signal.
Article
- Blog posts — Headline, date, author. Standard for content.
- Use for — All /resources/blog/* pages.
What to Skip (For Now)
- FAQPage — Only if you have a dedicated FAQ section. Don’t force it.
- Product — For ecommerce. B2B service sites rarely need it.
Start with Organization and BreadcrumbList. Add Service and Article as you have the pages.
